With the InterServe 80, Silicon Graphics Inc./ Intergraph delivers a Windows NT-based workgroup server that provides cuttingedge performance at an affordable price. Targeted for small- and mid-size prepress users, the full-featured InterServe 80 offers outstanding computing performance powered by single or dual 266,300, or 333 MHz Pentium II processors and the most features in its class. It's an ideal server for functions like RIPping and trapping.

The InterServe 80 is the first workgroup server that offers up to five 10 K rpm disk drivers (max 36 GB) and five or six available PCI slots in most ready-to-run configurations. With an innovative deskside chassis, the Ultra-tower, the InterServe 80 provides unparalleled expansion options. For companies needing even more disk storage, expansion slots, and peripherals, the Ultra-tower slides easily onto the new TowerMate expansion base to provide a combined total of 13 slots (11 PCI) and 11 bays. The InterServe 80's innovative design also enables IT managers to incorporate today's technology while accommodating future technology improvements as they arise.

Its compact form factor and excellent manageability features create a powerful solution for addressing high-volume Web/intranet services, file and print sharing, database applications, and messaging requirements.
