Impress 2000 A solution to imposition proofing in a filmless environment, Impress 2000 is an efficient, accurate color or black-and-white alternative to diazo, Dylux or blue line monochrome proofs. Impress 2000 uses pre-punched two-sided DuPont Digital DyluxTM proofing paper (to maintain front-to-black registration) and indicated ink system (yellow, cyan, magenta & black) to create over 16 million colors.
Impress 2000 accommodates work-and-turn as well ass work-and tumble imposition formats, imaging front-and black to produce two-sided imposition proofs. So you get the most accurate dual-sided image possible. Plus, you can make changes, corrections and design improvements without first committing to film or plate.

Features and benefits

Paper supplies

The DuPont Digital Dylux Proofing Media for the Impress 2000 is made under exclusive license to Barco and is supplied through a cooperative DuPont-Barco dealer channel. The media is pre-punched to match the register system of the proofer, allowing it to achieve extremely accurate front-to-back registration. It is especially designed for double-sided imaging, and is resistant to ink bleed.
